Affton Fire Protection District currently operates one
Advance Life Support Ambulance designated 1117.
1117
is equipped to handle any medical emergency to which
it may be called.
 Some
of the equipment carried on 1117 includes:

Affton Personnel assigned to 1117 are State of
Missouri Licensed Paramedics. Affton Paramedics
also hold certifications in:

Advance Life Support

Advance
Cardiac Life Support

International
Trauma Life Support
Affton
Paramedics also receive monthly training to maintain
the most current standards in emergency care.
Affton
Rescue Pumpers 1114 and 1124 are considered Advance
Life Support Pumpers. The pumpers are staffed by
licensed paramedics and are equipped to handle any
medical emergency to which they may be dispatched.
Time
is always a critical factor and these Advance Life
Support Pumpers and personnel can begin care and
stabilize patients before an ambulance arrives.
