The Affton Fire Protection District provides emergency medical services, fire prevention, fire suppression and rescue services utilizing 35 career firefighters and paramedics and 35 reserve firefighters. The district is currently associated with the St. Louis County Hazardous Materials Response Team and the St. Louis County Urban Search and Rescue Strike Team 3.
The Affton Fire Protection District covers an area of approximately 8.5 square miles with an approximate population of 40,000 residents. We serve the residents of Grantwood Village, Marlborough, Lakeshire, St. George, Wilbur Park, Village of Mackenzie, parts of Crestwood and unincorporated St. Louis County.
Our mission is to provide the best service and protection possible for the communities we serve. Great organizations are built on solid foundations. Our foundation is built on values and core values. Values are those aspects we hold dear, while our core values are things which the members of our organization refuse to compromise.
